Asteroides

This is a prototype I created as part of my journey learning GameMaker.

For this project, I chose to remake the classic Asteroids from the Atari era, aiming to understand the basics of 2D game development.

I implemented player movement, asteroid behavior, HUD elements, and other core mechanics.
I'm especially passionate about the retro game aesthetic, so I tried to preserve that nostalgic feel throughout the project.

Controls:

A - Turn left
D - Turn right
W - Accelerate
Space - Shoot
